Apparently you can watch a video take a course and it will be removed temporarily for 90 days. You don't do it again for those 90 days and it is gone for good.

I might try it when it comes out, if it comes out.

Well that is interesting - but dopes it apply to all strikes?

For example I'll bet it doesn't apply to copyright strikes.
There are no rules in film-making. Only sins. And the cardinal sin is dullness.

Agreed. Most copyright strikes are not really strikes. They are system that lets the person who owns the music, footage, etc - any monetary gain you may get from your video. It is not a true strike.

But I think it is for violations of their policies.

My strike was for a video game that had graphic stuff in it. Albeit 8 bit, and at the time I uploaded it Youtube was a different platform then. I also had warnings everywhere and age gated it myself.

But they just gave me a strike anyways after they took it down. By their policies at the time, they were in the wrong because the video was grandfathered in with different policies or lack there of. But they don't or didnt care.

I think I can get rid of the strike, I hope. I have always thought that. if someone gets a strike and say 2 years later has been following rules and no issues... why wouldn't you give them an opportunity to remove it?
