Well, I tried.

I have been doing what I can to try to get new people to join but it seems EVERYONE looking for advice outside of the YouTube platform itself is on bloody reddit.
(I hate reddit).

But there are just a few of us here and it's a bit of an echo chamber, sadly.

For a forum to survive it has to grow and certainly to a size well beyond what it currently is.
Grow or die, so to speak.

While it's currently not actually costing me anything in hosting (it's on my own hosting account)it is taking up a bit of my time in the background work.

Anyway I'm keen to know what way people would like to approach this.

Sorry this area of the forum is lower than the initial load, so I never scroll down lol.

If it isnt costing you anything might as well keep it. My guess is when Youtube continues to do dumb things, more and more people start to search for things, this could start to rise in the rankings of the results. It does take time.

Yeah, I come back now and again but I've got a lot of irons in the fire.  Sorry I'm not contributing more. It's hard when there is not much activity and it's also an uphill battle when there are so many other places for people to get info.  Hard to compete with the subreddits which get so much traffic.

Well, 2 votes is better than none.

Difficult yep for sure. And I can't mention it in on reddit or I get naughty cornered.

I do want to keep it going - and will do.

I just ask that people try to mention it to others / encourage them to join etc.
