We vacationed in Montana recently and it was fantastic.  Just splendid country.  Filmed a ton so  I've got plenty of videos to churn out for my channel.  Made a new trailer for the channel/series that has been well received.

Thanks guys.  I'm trying to dial in my titles/thumbnails. Had a very good response to that trailer though the actual longer ones from the trip have been a mixed bag. 

I had a good October though.  I did another ultramarathon and the video has been my best performing one to date.  2.5 weeks in and it's my third most watched video ever.  I then went and filmed a local ultra which also got a lot of support, especially from the race director which helped a lot.  Tried to piggyback off that with another ultra video - hasn't taken off like I hoped but I think it's good evergreen content which will do well over time.  All this ultramarathon stuff may end up working against me as I pivot back into backpacking videos but I must make the videos I want to make.  Here's the video that took off:

They had a great photographer shooting the race and he got this shot.  He was nice enough to let me use it for my thumbnail.  People love pics of gnarly feet so I think that helped.  Seriously.

That is a crazy event. Never heard of anything like that, at least that kind of format. It looked wet. For me, that would be hell on earth LOL. Great vid man!

Thanks!  It's a fast growing type of ultramarathon.  They just held the world championships in Tennessee - the winner went 109 LAPS.  450 miles.  Just crazy.  But I think the interest in these races is why this video did so well.
