There's a Youtuber I follow that was on twitch yesterday looking at old catalogues. They stated that they are not doing another catalogues video on YouTube as no body watched it.

So I thought I would check the video views which were 467k views hardly no views.

I wish I was getting them sort of views. I suppose they expect to hit the 1 million views for every video

Yeah I have seen that many times, I guess it is all about perspective.

If you are used to getting 1M views and only get 400K thats a big difference. Like my videos getting 6 views instead of 20. lol.

I did the same thing with my Wilma Fingerdoo vids, they were easily getting half the views of my fallout videos, so I decided to sheet can them. The difference is, 5-6 people were disappointed rather than tens of thousands.

Shoulder shrug.

It's not scalable at all, Makes no difference to you but in terms of income from monetisation that's a huge difference for them.
Makes me sad that for many creativity takes a second place to 'commercial'.  Leads to a true quantity over quality situation
There are no rules in film-making. Only sins. And the cardinal sin is dullness.
