NEW: Youtube doesn't tell you much until you publish the video

Just a heads up.

I uploaded my video on Monday. There was a decent chance it was going to get age gated. So I waited.

Nothing.

Cool. No age gate.

Then it dawned on me, last time I didn't get notified of the age gate until it published.

So I put it in unlisted mode and sure as sh*t, the age gate appeared.

But now I am experimenting to see if you have to watch it once too. Why... just why?

In their infinite wisdom, they feel that they should not PRE WARN you about things, just throw them at you once you publish the video.

Like: Go play football, but you can't see the plays until you are in the huddle.

So the saga continues with Youtube.

For me to find out if there is anything wrong with my video I have to do the following

- Render out 2 videos, one high resolution another low resolution.

- Post the low resolution, set it to unlisted AND watch it once. You guessed it, watch it once before ANYTHING gets reported.

- If there is a problem I have to then, cut that video into four - five minute videos. Upload them.

- One of them will go "age gate" and I then will cut that particular video into 3 segments.

- One of these will go "age gate" and I will then know where I have to censor the video.

- Censor that portion of the video.

- Reupload it and wait to see if it goes age gate.

- Then finally, edit / censor the entire video where it told me too, reupload it in full resolution and hope that YT doesn't **** me.

Nice huh?

YT is getting better at things and they are getting worse.

No revelation there.

Last five age gates:

- Debbie Downer. (no sh*t)
- Christina Model clip during a loading screen
- Piper in her skintight pullover in weird lighting making her kind of look naked.
- A wandering lady who was in these ragged clothes,
- Tara - main character was in those same ragged clothes.

I can point my finger at other channels and say oh my, look that guy is worse, nips, butts, and that girl is in a see through outfit and... etc.

But the last 4 I got caught with, I can't be mad at. I don't agree with it, but I can't be angry.

My biggest issue is the way I have to find out what needs to be censored. I put a link to the issue I was having.

You can see I uploaded the video, it got age gated.

I divide it into 4 parts, and 1 of them gets age gated.

Then I divide the video that was nailed into 3.

That way I can see exactly what I have to censor.

But this time around, it didn't tell me, LOL. The 5 minute video is age gated. but when I divide it into 3 none of the 3 are age gated?!?

Eventually I uploaded more and I found it was those ragged clothes.

In some sadistic way I have fun with it. I predict what is age gated and then I go about figuring it out. I am usually wrong too. lol.
